Believing 04:33
i want to grow and feel so free that tears will flow and fears will go and leave me being me just me i want to flow into your heart and go back to the very start to feel the pain loss and joy Shame like blame cuts you like a knife poisons your life until you feel so drained you will reach out to anyone for some life but sometimes from fear wont know when to let go just try to see why and simply learn to be just try to see why and simply learn to believe im here alone its me just me i cant delude myself anymore that you're still out there for me but i dont have to forget you Think of all the joyful moments spent in front of sympathetic ears and eyes that allowed you to express yourself for such a large part of our lives

about

This is an album which brings healing from the loss of love.
This is the feedback from those who bought it in hardcopy, went to shows, played on it and were given copies as gifts. These are the songs, apart from all the others, i've recorded, which i waited 12 years to be able to represent properly. They take the lyrical wisdom from older relationships and transform them in the fire of the present.

There is variety within also.. hints of Pink Floyd, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley combine with subtle Neuvo Bossa-Nova, Soundtrack and World-music tones.and has two comedic folk-club type political songs. it has something of the vibe of the outsider about it in its personal delivery but still contains this in musical and production traditions of grand albums i've admired for over 25 years.

The drums and acoustic guitar went down to analog tape and were then mixed to digital tracks after which the topping such as fretless bass, Piano, keys, Clarinet, Dulcimer, trumpet, windchimes, congas, african thumb piano, Cello, Durambuka, Accordion, Saxaphone, bamboo flute, sampler and backing vocals, went down digitally.

I gravitate towards making and listening to albums that one can devour lying down in the dark absorbed under a set of luxurious headphones.
food for healing dreams.
Please enjoy
